Mindset

Mindset is everything when starting out to make changes.

Like any challenge in life the Mindset is at points more important than the physical element. All too often when attempting to make changes around your Health & Wellbeing maintaining a positive mindset based around realistc goals is key. We have members create a "Why" around their mindset and this can often keep people on track to achieve a dress size, a wasist size or a charity event etc...

When people do not have a goal in their mindset and often say "I want to get fit" as an example this has quantifiable end game so its hard to maintain the right mindset.

Eating Habits

A moment on the lips means a lifetime on the hips as the saying goes...


Couldnt actually be further from the truth when you are armed with the correct balanced information.

There is no such thing as "Eating Clean" or a "Cheat Meal" when you understand the basics of food balance. It is just eating!!

Unfortunately there are some basic rules to abide by whether you want to build muscle, lose weight or even gain weight but contrary to what every "Slimming" company would say it is something you can manage yourself that once you understand the basic principals you need not cut any of your favourite foods from your diet and you certainly do not need to add in a "Super Food" you cannot stomach.

Having a healthy balanced relationship with food is something that everyone should be able to understand and in our opinion this should be learnt at school so it stays with us for good.

Activity

Remember when we walked everywhere?

When we were younger we walked everywhere. Whatever the weather, we didnt care it was just what we did. 

Remember saying 

" I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted and never put weight on." 

There is some truth in that but one of the major reasons was because of the amount of movement everyone did that we didnt even see as exercise.

Understanding how general activity, both fitness and general movement can have a positive impact on your general health and towards your goals is something that we can forget as we get older but reconnecting with the simple things such as taking the stairs instead of a lift or using an activity tracker to give you an idea of how you move and ultimately burn calories is a simple and effective tool.

Lifestyle

Most people are quite happy with their lifestyle...
Its ultimately how we choose to live our lifes.

Who wouldnt want to have a 6 pack or be on the cover of Swimsuit Magazine smiling away without a care in the world?

The truth is those smiles dont often tell the truth as to maintain that means a diet that most people would not want to suffer.

No beer, no wine, where is the fun in that? 99% of people want a balance between  being healthy, feeling good in their own bodies whilst not having to eat lettuce for every meal and this is achievable when you understand our 4 key criteria and custom these to your Life.
